Fund rising at traditional Cambridge event
This year we were lucky enough to secure a place at traditional Cambridge event – the Mill Road Winter Fair. Our wonderful volunteers put their entrepreneurial skills to full use crafting and baking items to sell, as well as securing valuable donations from local businesses to create a top-notch tombola.
Despite the high winds that day our gazebo did not blow away – which in itself was a victory – and to top it all off our stall raised over four hundred pounds! Our volunteers who manned the stall were fantastic, engaging with the public and raising awareness about the scheme as well as raising funds – a big thank you to everyone who helped out!
